Trains to halt at Tapa, Sangrur

The Northern Railway has decided to provide halts to the Ambala-Sriganganagar-Ambala Express and the Nanded-Sriganganagar-Nanded Express at Tapa (Sangrur district) and the Jabalpur-Jammu Tawi-Jabalpur Express at Sangrur with immediate effect. A Northern Railway official said the train
halts would be on an experimental basis for six months.

He said the Ambala-Sriganganagar train would reach Tapa at 7:27pm and the return train at 5.47pm with a two-minute halt each.

He added, "While the Nanded-Sriganganagar train will reach Tapa at 8:22am and the return train at 5:28pm with a two-minute halt each."

He said the Jabalpur-Jammu Tawi Express train would reach Sangrur at 4:58am and the return train at 7:10am.
