Two men allegedly molested a 14-year-old girl for two months and threatened her with dire consequences to keep their crime a secret.
This came to light after the victim's father filed a police complaint on Friday. The accused - Raj Kumar, 55, and Chander Bhan, 36 - were known to the
victim's father and arrested on Saturday.
While Chander Bhan works as an ambulance driver for a hospital in Daresi, Raj Kumar oversees a cycle stand in the same hospital. They had last sexually assaulted the victim on Monday and had again warned her against telling anyone. But the victim, a Class 10 student, narrated everything to her father on Friday.
Following this, the victim's father filed a complaint at Daresi police station. He alleged that the two used to come to his house in his and his wife's absence, when the victim used to be alone at home. Sanjiv Kapoor, a sub-inspector posted at Daresi police station, said a case under Sections 354, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code had been registered against the accused.
