The relatives of a woman, who was reportedly 'kidnapped' on February 26, have taken the case back, after it came to light that the woman was not abducted.
The women, Kamaljit Kaur wife of Harjit Singh of Kidwai Nagar, went missing from her home on February 26 along with her daughter
and nephew, as they went to Karnal to further proceed to Delhi from where they had planned to board a train to Maharashtra on February 28.
She went to Karnal without informing anybody at home, which created panic in the family, who registered a case of kidnapping. The woman lost contact with her relatives as her mobile phone discharged. She tried calling them up on Thursday from an eatery in Karnal, when her brother-in-law asked her to return back immediately.
After Kamaljit returned, the relatives have taken back the case.
