Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal has demanded an inquiry into the charges levelled against Robert Vadra, son-in-law of Congress president Sonia Gandhi, saying the truth should come out.
Talking to mediapersons on Saturday, Badal, who was here to attend a Valmiki Jayanti
function, said the Congress had brought a bad name to the country by indulging in rampant corruption.

Responding to the allegations levelled against BJP president Nitin Gadkari, the CM said it would not have a bearing on the SAD-BJP alliance in Punjab. "The SAD's alliance is with the BJP, not with any single leader. I will campaign in favour of BJP candidates in Himachal Pradesh on October 31," he said.

Badal said his government had collaborated with Germany to set up multi-skill development centres in the state. "One of these five centres will be established in Ludhiana. The centres will offer specialised technical courses to the youth so as to make them self-reliant," he said.
