Atwal warns Cong against showing Majithia's video

Assembly speaker Charanjit Singh Atwal has warned the Congress leaders against showing the controversial video involving revenue minister Bikram Singh Majithia during campaigning for the Moga by-election.


Atwal said as the controversial portion was expunged from the proceedings of the house, action could be taken against those showing it. He said those showing the video could be suspended from the assembly.

He said there were speculations that the Congress leaders could show the video in the election rallies to be conducted during campaigning for the by-election.

Atwal was talking to the media after hoisting the national flag on Republic Day at SCD Government College for Boys here.
