A man reportedly committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance. According to information received, Jagrup Singh, a resident of village Alipur, was depressed as his wife and children having left him.
On Thursday evening, he consumed poison. When his parents opened the door
of his room on Friday, his condition was serious and they rished him to a private doctor who could not save him. The Amloh police were informred.
Sources said the police recovered a suicide note in which Jagrup held his wife and three in-laws for his death. After the post-mortem examination at the civil hospital, the body was handed over to relatives of the deceased.
