Four arrested for drug peddling in separate cases

Police arrested four people in separate cases. The senior superintendent of police, Fatehgarh Sahib, Hardial Singh Mann, informed on Tuesday that a team of the anti-narcotics cell of Fatehgarh Sahib police arrested Sudam Das, a resident of Shehpur village in West Bengal during checking and
recovered 10-kg poppy husk from him.

A team of Sanghol police arrested Jatinder Singh, a resident of Sanghol, and recovered 5-gm smack from him during checking near the Sanghol T-point. A team of Kheri Nodh Singh police arrested motorcyclist Anand Singh, a resident of Udalpur village and recovered 10,000 tablets of habit-forming drugs.

A team of Khamano police arrested Swaranjit Singh, a resident of Duffera village and recovered 1.5-kg poppy husk from him. All the accused were booked under various sections of the NDPS Act.
