Kabaddi tourney from tomorrow

The 40th Shaheed Bachan Singh International Kabaddi Cup will be oragnised at Dirba, 20 km from here, on February 11 and 12. Karan Ghuman, chairman of Social Youth Sports Club, which is organising the tournament, said about 50 clubs will participate in the tourney.
On the first day,
Punjabi Sufi singer Satinder Sartaj will be the star attraction, whereas Gurdass Maan will entertain the audience on the closing ceremony. Deputy chief minister Sukhbir Singh Badal will distribute prizes among winners and Parminder Singh Dhindsa, finance minister, will preside over the inaugural function. Punjabi film stars and artistes, including Japji Khehra, Arun Bakshi, Satwinder Bitti and singer Ranjit Kaur, will be honoured during the tournament.
