The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandik Committee (SGPC) have asked those interested in undertaking a pilgrimage to the Sikh shrines in Pakistan, on the occasion of Baisakhi in the month of April, to deposit their passports with the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandik Committee (SGPC).

Manjit
Singh, personal assistant (PA) to the SGPC president, in a release issued here on Saturday stated that the passports of the pilgrims must reach the 'Yatra Cell' of the SGPC here by February 28. There must be no delay as the passports have to be sent to the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi for the issuance of visas.

It further stated that the passport must be accompanied by a recommendation of the SGPC member belonging to the area from which the pilgrim hails.

On the occasion of Baisakhi, the pilgrims will pay obeisance at the shrines of Panja Sahib,Nankana Sahib, Dera Sahib in Lahore and other important historical gurdwaras.
