Kulwant Kaur of Nawan Pind Taragarh was killed on the spot and her neighbour Amarjit Kaur suffered multiple injuries when a speeding Amritsar-Pathankot bus of a private company rammed into their scooter at the Satkoha turning on the GT Road near Naushehra Majha Singh, 18 km from here, on
Saturday.
Kulwant's nine-year-old son had a providential escape.
Amarjit has been referred to a government hospital in Amritsar. A case has been registered.
