Punjab on alert after Hyderabad blasts

Punjab Police issued a general alert across the state in view of the serial blasts in Hyderabad on Thursday.
A top police officer said that field officers had been directed to maintain vigil in crowded areas and increase patrolling in market places. Police sources said there has so far
been no specific input from any agency indicating that the miscreants could create trouble in this border state.
