Vahe Akemm Health Care introduced Yihao macromolecule breathable bandage during a conference at K Mall here on Wednesday.
The bandage contains neither plaster of Paris (PoP) nor fibreglass.
Speaking on the occasion, HP Bhogal, managing director of Vahe Akemm Health Care, said
Yihao macromolecule breathable bandage by Union Tough International is the latest clinical external immobilisation device for fractures. Bhogal said the bandage was made from medical grade macromolecule polyurethane encompassing special knitting process.
The price of the bandage varies between Rs. 600 and Rs. 3,000, depending on the size of bandage.
Dr Manjeet Kaur, a physiotherapist, said that she had used it on a patient with fracture and the results were good.
