Three of family arrested for beating man to death

The Division 7 police have arrested three members of a family for beating a driver, Harjinder Singh alias Pintu (45), to death in Kishor Nagar area on Wednesday evening. There is good news for small commercial establishments on Ferozepur road as the Punjab and Harayana high court has ordered that vehicles can be parked by the visitors in front of the shops for up to 15 minutes. Parking of vehicles on service lanes had been completely banned by the high court recently, leading to widespread outrage among the shopkeepers.
