Prince Harry, the 28-year-old royal, caused wide-spread controversy in August 2012, when nude photographs of him playing strip billiards with a bevy of beauties were published online.

American singer-songwriter Kesha's track Crazy Kids got an unexpected early exposure on the web on November 27 when it leaked ahead of its scheduled December 4 launch.

The makers later filed a complaint with the Mumbai Cyber Crime branch against DJ Srajan, but he refused to plug the leak. “I heard about it last week and called Srajan for an explanation.

Chitrangada Singh’s Item number in Akshay Kumar’s Joker was leaked online on July 11. The leaked version I want Fakhta you, was later re-dubbed and the lyrics were changed to I Want Just You before its official release.

Excerpts from Mahesh Bhatt’s film Blood Money were leaked in February. The leaked video had a love-making scene between actors, Kunal Khemu and VJ-turned-actor Mia Uyeda. Director Mahesh Bhatt was upset with the developments and said, “I am upset that this is being called a leak from our end to get attention. It goes against the profile of our film.”
The leak triggered an online storm and speculations were rife that Blood Money might be similar to Murder. The speculations, however, were proved void as the movie was nothing close to Murder.
