It was a hard fought win against the Deccan Chargers. Nothing is coming easy for us but we are pleased with the outcome.

Picking a final XI against the Chargers was a tough choice. To leave out players like Doug Bollinger and Mike Hussey was difficult. Faf du Plessis has been doing well so he had to be in. Ben Hilfenhaus has been in good form for Australia and we felt the swinging ball would give us a better opportunity to pick up some wickets upfront.

Suresh Raina has been in good form but does not have the big scores like in the previous editions. He continued his run with another 30. The Man-of-the-Match performance will give him a boost.

We did give Cameron White an opportunity early on when we dropped a catch but after that, he batted beautifully. If it wasn't for our fielding, the result may have been different. Raina's catch to dismiss Kumar Sangakkara was brilliant.

It would have been frustrating for the Chargers because when they seemed to be in with a chance, we snatched those key moments. Next up is the marquee clash against Mumbai. The team that wins the contest will have a good chance of making the play-offs. We have had the best preparation for the match, with the win over the Chargers.

It is one of the big games, and will be played at a great ground and against an excellent team. We are excited. Confidence is more important than momentum in Twenty20 cricket. Momentum changes every over, but confidence is more crucial.
