Kevin Pietersen exits, and in comes David Warner. The swap will leave the Delhi Daredevils' opponents a little confused. They wouldn't know whether to feel happy at the departure of the marauding Englishman or be scared at the arrival of the destructive Australian. It's tough to
choose between the two, what with both capable of destroying any bowling attack. And if anyone thought the Australian's raw attacking instincts might have dipped a bit after playing Test cricket, thereby shedding his T20-specialist tag, he's mistaken.

"Test cricket hasn't changed me as a batsman. I still believe in 'if you see it, then hit it.' If it's in my zone, I will go for my shot," said Warner after joining the Daredevils on Saturday.

That he's joining the team when the tournament has reached the business end doesn't bother him. "A professional athlete needs to adapt to any condition as quickly as possible. I have been playing for the past 12 months and have been in good form. I will look to attack from Ball One."

The tough Australian isn't worried about the expectations the team will have from him as a replacement to the hugely successful Pietersen. "I will have to keep executing my skills. KP has done very well and it will be my responsibility to cover his spot well."
