At 42, he is the oldest player in the IPL but Brad Hogg has the energy and enthusiasim of a youngster as he made his IPL debut against Mumbai Indians on Wednesday. This time last year, Hogg was in the comforts of an air-conditioned room as one of the commentators in the fourth edition of IPL. But
he got a surprise call to the Australian line up following his impressive performances in the KFC Big Bash for Perth Scorchers and made his international comeback against India in the two T20 games earlier this year.

The left-arm chinaman bowler on Wednesday came up with an entertaining spell in which he picked up two key wickets.
