Shah Rukh Khan's comment that he could cheer for his Kolkata Knight Riders team from outside the Wankhede stadium has sent the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) into a tizzy.
Last year, the MCA had slapped a five-year ban on Khan entering the stadium after his spat with the stadium security guards following his franchise’s victory over Mumbai Indians. With KKR due to face Mumbai Indians on Tuesday, the officials are worried.
The MCA has notified the police of their decision not to allow the actor entry. The police said on Monday that they had not received any fresh information but were in possession of a letter sent last year on his ban.
