Excluded from the Champions Trophy squad, Yuvraj Singh was absent from training for Pune Warriors' clash against Rajasthan Royals on Sunday. But coach Allan Donald cleared all doubts over whether the south paw will play.

“Yes, he will,” he said.  “He wasn't there for the practice, but he'll definitely play.” Yuvraj's highest score in seven completed innings is only 34 and his team has sorely missed his http://www.hindustantimes.com/Images/Popup/2013/5/05_05_13-metro22.gifbig counter-attacking innings.

Donald defended his team despite the inability to win and rise from the bottom of the points table.

“That's the painstaking thing of being a coach,” he conceded towards the end and also mentioned the frustrations in the job when the team is not doing well.
