It's time for a clash between Caribbean Calypso and Aussie regimentation, and if both teams play to their potential, it should be a cracker of a competition. In T20, it's never easy to predict a winner and when two balanced teams face-off in a knock-out situation, there is more to it than just strength on paper.

The West Indies must have had an eye on the Pakistan-Australia match and the team management would have observed how the Aussies got strangulated by an overdose of quality spin. The scenario in mind, the West Indies will look to Narine, Badree and Samuels to be the key in this crucial match.

The Australia-Pakistan match has also brought to the fore that if you can make early inroads into the Aussie innings, you have a chance of taking them by the horns. That is why David Hussey is so important in the middle order. He has loads of experience of playing in the sub-continent against good spinners and knows how to build an innings on wearing pitches. He can also be used as a spinner and his bowling can come handy.

The Aussie team management may think of using Matthew Wade higher up the order. It's packed at the top but Wade, at seven, is struggling to come to terms. In T20, it benefits to throw something at the opponent for which they may not be ready. Hafeez did that by bowling the spinners till the 18th over and Australia didn't have an answer.

Shane Watson's form will be crucial. He has had a good tournament with both bat and ball. The Aussies might think it was good that Watson had an off-day with the bat the other day and will come out better against the Caribbeans.
