These are the words that resonate in the mind whenever the random thoughts of the brain stumble upon that address.

That address where one is not only taught the mathematics of life but the science of humanity too. Where standing tall and independent isn't the ultimate goal, rather helping others and stand up for themis the priority.

And that address is Modern Delhi Public School growing exponentially from scratch to one of the most reputed educational institutions in Faridabad. Modern Delhi Public School is the perfect amalgamation of modern virtues and the Indian morality.

Take a child whose intelligence is sculpted by the best staff and the humanity within is roused by the perfect mentors. The result is a mature and mettlesome personality who unlike most others is thankful to the society in which he has grown and takes optimum advantage of all opportunities to give back to the world.

And that is exactly what this school tries to create. In the barely eight  years of its existence, Modern Delhi Public School has already given a lot more to the society than it ever asked for and its promise to never cease the efforts is one to believe and behold.

A short tour of what has already been done? Sounds good. An early start is the best start, they say. And at Modern Delhi Public School even the children of the pre-primary wing are exposed to the idea of spreading happiness by sharing happiness.

Events like 'Joy of giving' week and visits to orphanages inculcate in these young minds, a sense of gratitude for what they have and the concept of sharing their happiness with the less privileged.

'That's all?' Some would ask. Well, certainly not. The students of the primary wing brought a smile on the faces of the grandpas and grandmas when they camped overnight at an oldage home.

Weekly assemblies dedicated to and staging themes like 'BapuKeSapne', 'The Hour of Truth', 'The Bishop's Candle Sticks, do their every bit in sensitizing the students regarding the burning issues like Women Empowerment and Girl Child Education.

A lot is done in spreading awareness beyond the boundaries of the school as well. An array of clubs promote activities like e-waste management and other social issues like female foeticide through visits to various institutions and street plays (yes, the real ones!).

And what's more, the Annual function a grand event in itself, is always woven around grand themes like 'Pratigya - Save the Earth' and the role model for Indian womanhood 'Indira Priyadarshini' and many more.

The institution develops giving back as a habit, leaving no stone unturned in its service to the society. Budding and bubbling with ideologies like

"The best way to find yourself is to loose yourself in the service of others".

It has stayed true to its motto of 'Service before self' which implies that Modernities serve others willingly, graciously and selflessly.

Alas! Today's reality would've been pure imagination without the guidance and leadership of the founder Director Principal of the school Mr. U. S. Verma who helps develop both, a mindset that injects socially responsible thinking into every aspect of school life and a strategy for using the available resources to create a positive change in the communities close to home and around the world
