The Girl With… wins best editing at Oscars

The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo is about a journalist (Daniel Craig) who is aided in his search for a woman who has been missing for forty years by Lisbeth Salander (Rooney Mara), a young computer hacker. Mara was nominated Best Actress for the film.

Director David Fincher’s The Girl With Dragon Tattoo won the golden statuette for best editing for Kirk Baxter and Angus Wall at the 84th Academy Awards.

The film features Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara in key roles.

It tells the story of a journalist Mikael Blomkvist who is in search of a woman missing for forty years. He is aided by Lisbeth Salander, a young computer hacker.

Also nominated in the category were Anne-Spphie Bonn for The Artist, Kevin Tent for The Descendents, Thelma Schoonmaker for Hugo and Christopher Tellefsen for Moneyball.
