Britain's Mo Farah added the 5,000 metres title to his 10,000 metres gold medal at the London Olympics on Saturday.
Farah took the lead at the bell and held it in a courageous, lung-busting final 100 meters to take gold in 13 minutes, 41.66 seconds.
Ethiopia's world bronze
medalist Dejen Gebremeskel came strong but had to settle for silver in 13:41.98.
Thomas Pkemei Longosiwa of Kenya won a surprise bronze in 13:42.36.
It makes a long-distance double for Farah, who became the first Briton to win the Olympic 10000 metres a week ago.
