Sara Khan, who married Ali Merchant on the reality show Bigg Boss, was shocked to find her ex standing at her doorstep recently. The actors were part of the cooking reality series Welcome and as per the show’s format, every week four celebrities go to dine at a fifth celebrity’s home. A source says, “Sara was very annoyed and locked herself in her room. When the production team persuaded her to emerge, she relented but didn’t participate much, even though she was the host.
 
The makers removed Ali from the show and replaced him with Vindu Dara Singh in the next five episodes.” Sara says, “It was a jolt as I didn’t know who the contestants were. I couldn’t believe the production house would go to this extent for TRPs.” But the makers promised her that they would take care of the matter and replaced Ali the next day.

“There’s no need for gimmicks. The episode left a bad taste in my mouth. This was a rude shock,” says Sara. The man on the other end of that nasty disclosure echoes the sentiment. “I was shocked to see her as well. As she has shifted to this new place I didn’t know it was her home or I wouldn’t have gone there,” Ali says.

“If he was so shocked he should have walked out, but he was smiling and talking to everyone as if nothing had happened,” says Sara.
