Showtime has announced that Shameless, House of Lies and Californication will see new seasons broadcast at the beginning of 2014 in the US on Sunday nights. Shameless, the most-watched show after Dexter on the premium channel, will get its fourth season. The comedy pulled off the feat of attracting 22 percent more viewers in a year. The adventures of the Gallagher family, helmed by William H. Macy, are being followed by over 5.4 million viewers weekly in the show's third season, across all media and platforms.

Don Cheadle's recent Golden Globe for the lead role strengthened House of Lies, and the comedy will get a third season of episodes.

The premium network will also prolong Hank Moody’s troubled life with a seventh season for Californication, starring David Duchovny.
