Actor Kajal Aggarwal, who made her debut in Bollywood with the superhit  Singham (2011) opposite Ajay Devgn, will now be seen with yet another superstar  — Akshay Kumar — in her next, Special 26. But the young actor, who is yet to establish herself in Bollywood, is already a popular face down south. And now, she’s all set to bank on her stardom to promote her upcoming venture.

A source reveals, “Kajal has requested the makers of her next, especially her co-star Akshay Kumar, to come along with her to promote Special 26 in Hyderabad. She is very popular there and believes that promoting her film in Hyderabad will help the project.” Apparently, Khiladi Kumar happily obliged. The source adds, “Promotions in Hyderabad were not on the agenda. But when Kajal requested Akshay, he couldn’t refuse. So he decided to accompany her.”

The Rowdy Rathore (2012) star even made adjustments in his already packed schedule to
accommodate this last-minute change. “He requested the makers of Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai 2, for which he’s shooting currently, to give him half a day off to make a quick promotional trip.”

Ask director Neeraj Pandey about this and he says, “Yes, all of us going to Hyderabad. Kajal is very popular there and we want to promote the film among her fans in the city.”
