"Shefali, who used to teach children residing in her neighbourhood for a living, used to pick up her sister's daughter from school every weekend. On Friday, her brother-in-law told her that he had already picked up his daughter from school. After that Shefali went home and ended her life," a police officer said. No one knows why she took her life, as no suicide note was found in the house.
Four to five hours later, her father got home from work as usual only to find the door locked from inside. After he failed to get in he asked one of his neighbours to help him break the door down.
