Karam Singh brother of murdered former MLA and senior akali leader Malkit Singh Keetu was booked for allegedly attempting to murder his family connections on Sunday.
According to police officials the police have registered a criminal case against Karam Singh under Section 307 of the Indian Penal Code. Karam Singh is still at large.

"Karam Singh allegedly attempted to murder of the two children of Kulwant Singh Kanta, adopted son of the deceased MLA Malkit Singh Keetu," said police.

According to information, Jatinder Singh, brother of Kulwant Singh Kanta had complained to the senior police officials that Karam Singh had allegedly threatened him of dire cost if they deposed in court case against the three accused nephews Jaspreet Singh, Harpreet Singh and Gurpreet Singh who reportedly involved in Keetu's murder who was shot dead at his native village Bilaspur in Moga district in October 2012.
