He said: "During the Congress regime, Rs. 3,799 crore had been spent under various public welfare schemes in Sonepat district, while during Chautala regime (1999-2004), Rs. 616 crore were spent."
The projects launched by Hooda on the occasion included laying the foundation stones of construction of part-1 of GT road to Kami road byepass, ROB in Gohana on Jind road, government college near Gohana, government college for boys near Kharkhodda and railway under bridge near Sonepat.
Rohtak MP Deepender Singh Hooda and Sonepat MP Jitender Singh Mailk were also present on the occasion.
