Following controversial remark Trinamool Congress MP Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar on her make up, union minister Deepa Dasmusshi on Sunday said it was beyond her dignity to retort back and claimed comments like these were Trinamool's attempt to provoke violence before the panchayat polls.

"I must say that for a long time Trinamool leaders have been targeting Congress and other opposition by obscene comments. I fear that this is a deliberate attempt of provocation," Deepa Dasmunshi said.
