A team of cental intelligence agency, Sirhind, today arrested Balkar Singh, a resident of Khanpur village of Kapurthala district and recovered 5-kg poppy husk from his possession. As per another report, a team of Sirhind Mandi police arrested Sarabjit Singh, a resident of Mohalla Dhobiya, Bassi Pathana and recovered 5-gm smack from his possession. Cases under various sections of NDPS Act have been registered against both the suspects.
