Bollywood has worldwide recognition now, and it is getting bigger and bigger Lauren Gottlieb, Hollywood actor, on acting in Bollywood Hollywood dancer and actor. Lauren Gottlieb may be a new name in the Indian entertainment circuit, but the talented 24-year-old has already had her share of the spotlight with her win in the popular US dance reality show, So You Can Think You Can Dance, Season 3. And now, Lauren makes her Bollywood debut with the upcoming dance film ABCD (Anybody Can Dance).

A fan of all things Indian, Lauren, a US resident, says, “I love this country. The people over here are so warm and loving.” And it’s not just the people; Lauren loves Indian food so much  that she just can’t get enough of it. “Initially I found Indian food spicy, but then l started enjoying it and now I order Indian food three times a week,” she shares. Asked what brings her to Bollywood, she says, “Bollywood has worldwide recognition now, and it is getting bigger and bigger everyday.” The US-based dancer’s favourite Bollywood flicks include Bodyguard, and The Dirty Picture. “My first film was Bodyguard and I loved it! Salman is so funny!,” she says, adding, “However, one of my all time favourites is The Dirty Picture.”

Lauren wants to shoot in India again. “I love India. I miss it so much!! If I get a chance, I would love to come back to the country,” she signs off.
