Punjab and Haryana high court on Wednesday was informed by Punjab government that there are 703 individual protectees inside and outside the state, other than the elected representatives, government officers and constitutional functionaries, and 1, 873 police officials are deployed for their security.

The state government, however, did not disclose the names of private protectees.
