Deadline.com has announced that Colin Farrell and Anthony Hopkins will co-star in this supernatural thriller set against a backdrop of a series of killings.

Colin Farrell will play an FBI agent in Solace, a project being sold at the Berlin European Film Market. When he does not find any leads on a series of murders, he will seek out a talented consultant who has been living as a recluse since his daughter's tragic death.

Filming on Solace will start next May. The film will be Brazilian director Afonso Poyart's first movie in English. The screenplay was worked on by Peter Morgan (Skyfall), James Vanderbilt (Zodiac) and Ted Griffin (Tower Heist).
