The city police on Wednesday claimed to have busted a flesh-trade racket with the arrest of three persons, including the kingpin woman who used to use her residence in Gopal Nagar area this purpose.
Acting on a tip-off that a woman, identified as Kiran Mehta, is operating a flesh-trade racket in her residence in Gopal Nagar locality, a raid was conducted, police sources said.

Police said when they reached Mehta's house, it was locked from outside and she was present in her boutique in an adjoining room. When the lock was forcibly opened, a young couple was found in one of the rooms, the police added.

Meanwhile, son of the accused kingpin, Sunny Mehta, managed to give a slip to police. Mehta and her client couple have been arrested under the Immoral Trafficking Act, police added.
