Records broken in terms of rape, corruption: Ajay
All India Congress Committee ( AICC) general secretary Digvijay Singh said if employees of the state government were being found in possession of assets worth crores, the state government could not be absolved of its responsibility in failure to curb corruption. He said only Lokayukta can’t stop corruption and chief minister should be asked against how many of employees he had initiated action on his own for corruption.
State Congress chief Kantilal Bhuria said the whole official machinery from minister to clerks was deep neck in corruption and when raids at the residence of officials and clerks were unearthing assets worth crores, it was high time that premises of the CM and ministers were also raided. If that happens all the records of disproportionate assets found in a raid across India would be broken.
