The Canadian rapper beat out Nas, The Roots and Lupe Fiasco to win the best rap album award for "Take Care." The 26-year-old Toronto native, born Aubrey Drake Graham, had been nominated for several Grammys from 2010 to 2012 but had never won. Jay-Z and Kanye West won best rap performance and best rap song for "Nas In Paris."
