The report of the DNA samples that were sent to the laboratory at Sagar arrived here on Sunday. The samples obtained from the accused and the victim have matched, said police sources. Now police have strong scientific evidences that Nand Kishor had raped and murdered the eight-year-old girl, whose body was found at the desolate spot near Home Minister’s bungalow, in TT Nagar a week ago.

The sample of the blood that was obtained from the accused’s private parts had also been subjected to the test earlier in a Bhopal’s Regional Forensic Laboratory at Bhopal along with samples recovered from the victim’s body and the spot.

Further, the samples were also sent for DNA test to FSL Sagar. Now with DNA test report obtained from Sagar lab, the prosecution has a strong case against the accused. Police officials confirmed that the reports had arrived from Sagar.

Meanwhile, the family of the eight-year-old girl has said that the accused should get death penalty. Speaking to media persons, the victim’s father said that a person who commits such a despicable crime must not get anything less than hanging.
