The College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology of Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) has been selected for the technical education quality improvement programme of the ministry of human resource development.
A university spokesperson on Monday said that the university would be given Rs. 10 crore for the project, which aims at transforming technical education system in the country with assistance from the World Bank and central and state governments.

“Besides, enhancing existing capacities of the institutions to become dynamic, demand driven, quality conscious, forward looking and responsive to rapid economic and technological developments occurring both at national and international levels are some of the other thrust areas of the project,” the spokesperson said.
