Respondents said the skywalks are poorly maintained and an overwhelming 81.4% of the users felt they should be manned by security personnel.
"The main concern was the lack of security," said Manzi Jarald, 19, one of the nine second-year students of the college who conducted the study in January as part of their coursework for the 'contemporary issues' module. "The concern is that the police are below, so if anything untoward happens, no one would realise it."
