Now, a new app has been created that helps users create cartoon versions of themselves and their friends.
Called iMadeFace, the free app lets a user transform his/her mug in just a few minutes by using its built-in templates. Nearly every part of your face is customizable with a swipe, making it easy to create a one-of-a-kind masterpiece, Mashable reports.

To get started, a user needs to tell the app whether they are trying to create a male or female cartoon.

A basic template will then load, with a scroll bar at the top of the screen for different parts of the face.

Completed images can be downloaded to the camera roll on your device, or shared directly from the app to social networks such as Facebook and Twitter.
