BFC: I’m fussy and I know it
I’m not sure when I realised I was turning into an urban snob.
Maybe it was when I started scanning maple syrup jars (to make sure it was authentic maple syrup rather than high-fructose corn syrup flavoured with artificial maple extract) with the kind of fervour I reserve for medication labels.
And when I decided I would exclusively eat Amore gelato rather than chow down on any ice cream brand from my corner store. But in my defence, I don’t think that being picky about what you eat is necessarily a bad thing. It is when you get fussy for no reason that you can pin the snob label firmly on your chest. So where do you stand?
