Suresh Rana of Team Maruti led after day one of the 11th Maruti Suzuki Desert Storm on Monday.

However, today at the time of going to press, it was learned Rana’s Grand Vitara suffered mechanical trouble and lost 14 minutes. Mahindra’s Lohitt Urs, Sunny Siddhu and Karamjit Singh are likely to benefit from the incident.
