Five months after the gangrape and suicide of a 16-year-old girl, a Jind district court on  Friday awarded life term imprisonment to two convicts - Pradeep Kumar and Sandeep  Kumar alias Sanjeev.
Court has also imposed a fine of Rs.10,000 on each of the convicts. The immolation of dalit minor girl sparked an outrage and UPA president Sonia Gandhi also visited the victim’s family at Saccha Khera village near Narwana of Jind district in Haryana.
