Talking about the arrangements being made for the board exams starting from March 1, Dhaliwal said, "About 8 lakh students will be taking the exams this year. A total of 3,238 examination centers have been set up throughout the state that includes 242 sensitive centers."
Dhaliwal added, "All centers have been set up at the ground floor or the first floor of buildings. Security arrangements for all centers have been increased from respective administrative authorities."
Talking about tackling the menace of copying in the upcoming exams, Dhaliwal said utmost attention has been given to clean image of supervisory staff and flying squads.
"In order to ensure that the result is declared on time, lesser time shall be allowed to checking staff," said Dhaliwal.
She appealed to the students to follow the rules and do not indulge in copying.
