The grant included Rs. 3.6 lakh for the construction of verandah of the community centre at Bathwala village, Rs. 2.75 lakh and Rs1.5 lakh for laying streets and drains at Jhawar and Bhangwan villages, respectively, Rs. 2 lakh each for the streets and drains of ward number 4 and 8 in Gurdaspur municipal council, Rs. 93 lakh for developmental works in ward number 10, besides Rs. 2.49 lakh for installing streetlights in the ward number 21.
Bahl also promised to get more developmental funds from the MPLAD scheme funds of Bajwa.
