Justice Ranjit Singh talked to the Nabha jail inmates regarding their problems in the jail through video conferencing on the occasion of the inauguration of the ultra-modern video conference room at the judicial court complex, here on Tuesday.


Punjab and Haryana high court judge Justice Rajive Bhalla, along with Justice Ranjit Singh, Justice RK Jain and Justice NK Sanghi were present for the inauguration.

The video conferencing link was activated in the presence of these judges. Justice Ranjit Singh said that video conferencing would improve the efficiency of the judicial system not only in the cases of remand, but also in the recording of evidence.

Kuldeep Singh, district and sessions judge, Fatehgarh Sahib, informed that he had ordered that the remand process of the accused would take place through video conferencing from February 27 at Fatehgarh Sahib and Amloh.
