"What we call 'match fixing' can be understood from various incidents over the last few days. This is a conspiracy to create chaos ahead of the summers," Manish Sisodia, AAP spokesperson, said in a statement.
He said the Centre had stopped 400 MW electric supply to Delhi, resulting in massive power cuts in east and south Delhi and the reason being told is power manufactures have not been paid.
"After Dikshit's letter to DERC on February 1 about losses of Rs. 20,000 crore to power discoms, the DERC suggested her to avail Centre's scheme for helping them out and also suggested the power discoms to set up audit committees of their own," he claimed.
"How can the DERC chairperson be so sure that power discoms would get Centre's help?," he added.
The people will either have to pay additional power bill of amount up to Rs. 5,000 or the government will levy additional taxes for it, Sisodia said, adding, "It is now for the people to decided what they want to do."
