Gautam Gambhir made 44 batting at No 4 as Delhi thrashed Gujarat by eight wickets to enter the semis of the Vijay Hazare Trophy on Wednesday. Delhi captain Rajat Bhatia opted to field on a two-paced wicket and seamer Sumit Narwal captured career-best figures of five for 21 in seven overs to skittle out Gujarat for 126 in 32 overs.

Delhi knocked off the runs in only 28.4 overs. Gambhir faced 67 balls, and hit six fours and a six.

Yuvraj Singh fell for a duck as Kerala shocked Punjab by 46 runs in another quarter-final.
