While he raised questions on the irrigation scam and gave a list of pending projects to the NCP chief, he continued his tirade against Ajit Pawar that he had started at his last rally at Solapur.
“I have only spoken the truth till now. I am not afraid of anyone. Why should I praise people who have ill-treated Maharashtra?” Raj said on Saturday.
He asked Sharad Pawar if the present drought was natural or created by circumstances. “Can Sharad Pawar tell us where the Rs. 70,000 crore has gone?” he said. He blamed Ajit Pawar and the NCP for the Marathwada drought. Following his comments, there was violence and stones were thrown at his convoy.
In Ajit Pawar’s counter attack, he asked the MNS to mend its ways and desist from the smear campaign against NCP or face a “befitting reply”. Replying to Ajit, Raj threatened the NCP saying the MNS, too, could retaliate.
“Power and money have gone to your head. If you can show me black flags, it won’t take me too long to turn them into red ones. Don’t come in my way,” he said.
He even told the crowd that the NCP was hatching plans to defame him by planning income tax raids and dragging his name in scams.
